I have to eat my words about hating Guthy-Renker!

:blush: :( I had a Guthy-Renker rant out here about two months ago calling them spawn of Satan. (Guthy-Renker is the cable infomercial powerhouse that brings you fitness and beauty products.... LOL!) Well, my mother ordered a Meaningful Beauty (the Cindy Crawford line of skin care) starter set for me for my birthday this year, and I did not try it until about a month ago. (I had a bunch of other products I was using and wanted to keep using.) I started using the set, and---well---I'm now embarrassed to admit that it works extremely well. :blush: Mom got me hooked on this stuff! It's all her fault. :( Now that it works so well, I have to order more. Yes, the Guthy-Renker minions have won after all.... :cry:

1. I bought an awful treadmill years ago from that company

Fitness guru Kathy Smith was the "celebrity" hawking it and I fell for what she said hook, line and sinker. HUGE mistake. I'm a big Kathy Smith fan and have a lot of her exercise videos. So, I trusted her. I will never fall for that kind of stuff again.

I groaned when Mom gave me the set. I reluctantly admit that ONE of their skincare lines isn't crap, though. :hi:

4. My husband will never let me forget that mistake

I want to buy a really nice treadmill and he doesn't want to spend the money. Then he throws out the crappy mistake I made. Ack! I throw it right back at him for the expensive top-of-the-line fishing reel he bought and has NEVER used. :evilgrin:

I just don't understand how that company can still be around. You would think that word of mouth would put them out of business!

6. I won't for mine.

They sold Laugh-In - two episodes for $20 each. The cases given were pitiful, I would get MANY scratched discs. After TWO bad discs they cancelled me, claiming I was a "bad risk".

WHAT THE FSCK?????

It's their own cheap packaging and, for $20, as with I do for any DVD, the thing is going to be scratch-less unless I make the scratch myself.
