It's vice versa, not vise versa :hi:

Vice is Latin in origin, and means "next to".

Versa is also Latin in origin, and means "to turn".



So in Pig Latin it's

Ice-vay Ersa-vay!


meaning, "When pigs fly!"

3. Here is a way to approximate it. The cosh (hyperbolic cosine) is
defined as cosh x = (ex + e-x)/2.

Since we are doing vice versa, the other way around, we switch the signs to get (e-x - ex)/2. This is -sinh(x) by inspection.

Note that a person with vice is usually a zero. In this case cosh(vice) = cosh(0) = 1.
