No Cat Group?
With all the cat lovers here on DU, I'm surprised that the personal interest groups are lacking a cat board.

After all, where would we all be without our owners?

I've never seen so many fellow cat lovers
together in one place!

It's one of the many reasons I love it, here.

18. Merlin was really p*ssed when we brought her into the house.
He walked around with his ears flat on his head for about 5 days... and everytime I looked at him he yelled at me. He's a bit ruffled by rambuctious kittens. She made him look HUGE-er than he already is. :D

20. Yeah, everytime we've brought the "new" cat home, the others flip out
I grew up with lots of dogs and I still adore puppies but we have little time for the whole doggy/relationship/training thing. So we moved into cats. I call them my subversive subculture.

I recall reading somewhere that you can ease cats into a relationship by keeping the new one in a separate room for several days. The old ones get used to their scent and feel less threatened. But I've never done it. And anyway, they all learned to make friends for the most part. Scrub ends up odd cat out every so often but I figure that's just nature's way.

They are entertaining.

24. He would if he found one. He has no shame.
On Easter Sunday he killed a baby rabbit. The he and the other two cats played with it, throwing it up in the air until we caught them and put them in kitty jail.
