My best friend has just been let go by his wife. |
|
And he took it REAL hard (my wife told me). I'm going to his house after work. Should I phone first (and risk a "no, leave me alone" answer I really don't want) or crash uninvited and offer a shoulder for him to cry on?

1. I'd say crash uninvited |
|
He might think he doesn't want the company, but it's the best thing for him now.

2. The guy's answering his phone? |
|
Maybe he's not in such bad shape after all. Seriously, just crash. It's more meaningful than a phone call.

4. I don't know, I haven't called |

The real crisis seems to have happened already. Wifey knew by a post on his blog (which I can't get here at work coz blogger is blocked). She says he went to the hospital, feeling ill, and the doc said he had nothing. Maybe it was a temporary blood pressure pike or something. I don't have all the details.

I would say go uninvited. His world just shattered and he needs a friend.
