Bicyclist trapped under Girls Gone Wild bus

Unusual story from the Iowa City Press-Citizen:

"An unidentified middle-aged male bicyclist was trapped under a "Girls Gone Wild" full-size charter bus Tuesday night for about 20 minutes at the intersection of Burlington and Linn streets.

After colliding, the bicyclist was trapped, lying on his back with the bus's front right steering tire partially on top of his torso and legs. The fire department used two box cribs and air bags to lift the bus about four inches to extricate the man.

The "Girls Gone Wild" bus was in Iowa City Tuesday as part of a scheduled stop on its "Girls Gone Wild Rocks America" tour, according to the company's Web site. The tour bus was scheduled to stop Wednesday in Cedar Falls and today in Des Moines, the Web site said."

Someone called into the local radio show this morning said the man is in a coma, and lost a leg.

Just as many "Girls Gone Wild" here as at any other large university campus. Plus the bus was downtown where all the bars are. So, lots of drunken co-eds just waiting to embarass themselves on camera.
