I have been adopted it seems (WARNING - CUTE KITTY pics inside)
I just moved to NM and this little cat wouldn't leave. After 5 days he (she?) looked so skinny and pitiful I started feeding it. Today was the first day the chairs got moved to the brand new deck and look who jumped on my lap and started purring like a freight train. Seems I've been adopted. A visit to the vet is in order in the next few days I guess.....

PS the mess next to the deck is the old bathroom stuff dumped to make way for the new shower woohoo!

She looks a lot like my very first kitty.

If you decide you can't keep her, I'll so meet you half-way in Santa Fe....

Sounds like you have a friend!!

3. she IS adorable and such a little toughie too. my dogs love cats and
they all want to sniff it and check it out and she (he?) spits and swats and they just backup and then come in again to love it.

it's getting better about the dogs now after 10 days

9. A parent is probably nearby
Charles Atlas (see avatar) came back to me in Florida with his daughter. She didn't want to share our space and promptly moved in with the humans upstairs. They spent a year or so conversing all day from their respective porches.

Charly's family never noticed the relationship, though they're spitting images of each other. I happened to meet them as Charles and I were moving back to NY and finally heard how happy they were to have been blessed.

May your kitten bring you equal pleasure.

I made it back up to NYC again, this time after my mother passed away (when the whole thing with Bev Harris and he should not be named happened, we were doing hospice at home).

But don't participate much in the lounge. Love the kitty pix, tho.

Hope all's with you and yours

22. All's well. You know
someone brought up our debate on Scarborough not long ago, so we've made it somewhat into DU lore. Plus, I can't tell the story anymore without finding myself making sure I don't contradict the points you proved to me. It's hard to get debates that involved around here anymore. Too many people lob grenades and run to the next thread. Price of growth, lots more threads than back then.

Nice to see you. COndolences on your loss.

He's a sweetie, but a little skittish yet. If you want to come to Iowa to catch him, he's yours. He needs a good home, but I don't think my two indoor kitties would appreciate it. Plus, I think he's been outdoors for too long to want to live in the house.

82. it's a smart lil kitty too! we had a big thunderstorm tonight and I set up
the carrier out of the wind and put some food in it and the kitty stayed in there til the storm blew over

smart little devil

and I saw it's parent tonight too, big white kitty with a LONG tail and just a "cap" of the grey like cutie kitty. don't know if it's momma or poppa, but my little fruit didn't fall far from that tree and will hopefully inherit that absolutely gorgeous long tail
