to be on someones' buddy list. I've not used that or ignore so I don't know. Is 'buddy' really just a stalker button?

3. Long term or short term?

I've seen several female posters have to vanish or go into witness protection from stalkers around here. For me, the only stalkers I get are the ones who get mad at something I say and follow me from thread to thread hounding me on the same subject. That's what the ignore button is for. Really annoys them when they respond and you can't hear them, too! :)
