OK, military-type Loungers: ID this helo!
Sucker came roaring overhead at quite a good clip. Rattled the windows, woke up the dogs, the whole bit. :D

Snapped off one shot with the telephoto, hand-held. Doesn't look familiar to these untrained eyes. Anyone? And what the heck was it doing over my house (albeit clearly on the way elsewhere)?

A previous post suggested the HH-53 Super Jolly Green Giant, but that has a has a six bladed rotor.
