I just saw "Clerks 2" today. I really liked it.

The movie was a lot of fun. I like raunchy humor, and I really enjoyed the film. As per usual, the sequel's not as good as the original, but it was still a good one. Joel Siegel's ranting exit from the film is what convinced me to see it, and I'm glad I did. Yes, there is a donkey in the film. I came way too close to peeing my pants during that scene.

1. It was great!

The guy who played the fundie was fantastic. And despite being filmed in color (which for some reason annoys the purists) it still had the close-up handheld camera work to keep the low budget ethos alive.

No one takes Joel Siegel seriously except Joel Siegel. Smith ripped him a new one for that too, lol.

I was about 8 when Mr. Smith began his first project (Clerks I) and he actually worked at RST video at the time. I used to rent video games from him and he would actually edit the film reels in the store as he worked.

Don't remember what kind of person he was like though. I just wanted the video games.

11. There's A Charming, Endearing Nature to all of Kevin Smith's Characters

The guy even made Ben Affleck likeable. Dante, Randle, Silent Bob, and Jay, all make me want to hang out with them for a day.

That stupid argument about "Star Wars" vs. "Lord of the Rings" is the kind of mindless argument that gives your brain the rest it needs.
