IN ONE WEEK!! Please congratulate Slinkerwink on the Dean Campaigns accomplishments. They've broken the Bat so many times they are starting a toothpick company!

Go! Dean! Go!

1. Cool
The sad thing is, Bush raises $1 million a night.

3. Yes, but he can only go to the well once.
Once his supporters have given their $2000, they're done. Only a small percentage of Dean's supporters are tapped out.

6. YES! Go Dean. I LOVE Clark but.....
I'm beginning to see the awful light that Dean will be the only one with the money in the last 60 days of the campaign against Bush to be competitive.

I will vote for Dean even though my heart is set for Clark. I did the math last night. Dean is the only one with the money.

I think that's the reason Gore endorsed him so early on. I didn't understand at first but the slection needs to be narrowed in hopes that the other campaigns' contributors can contribute to the efforts of the financial leading candidate. It's the only way we have a chance to go up against the powerful money machine Bush has.

Organizations like moveon.org can't advertise within 60 days of an election for any candidate or against so the one with the most money needs to win the nomination in order to fight all they have in those last 60 days before the presidential elections.

I love Clark, Kucinich, Braun & Sharpton but their contributors could do so much more by filtering that energy into that candidate with the most money which happens to be Dean. If they would be nominated, they can't compete with Bush in the final days due to the limit on the public funding dilemma. Please people, see what I'm seeing now. I love Clark more than anything but I want to get Bush out over anything else.

It's politics. It makes me sad. I'm sick about it. But this is what we have to do NOW in order to win. Life is not fair but if we want what we want we have to play the game (until we get in the White House). We have to get there first. As Cyndi Lauper sang--"money, money changes everything."

PLEASE SEE THIS TRUTH!!!!!
WE HAVE TO WIN

Gotta go to work now---will look back at this in the morning!!

8. At this time in 1991,

Tom Harkin had raised twice as much money as Clinton.

That's great that Dean is such a good fundraiser, but there's a hell of a lot more to being a good candidate and a great president than raising money.

Edited to clarify that I'm not slamming Dean in this, I'm just saying that I don't think that 'dollars raised' is reason enough to switch a vote from someone you believe in.

7. Woohoo!
I can't keep track. I used to post the links to the current campaign but they become obsolete too fast.
