4. Hi ladies!

Yeah, I like it well enough.

3) Commando? Yes or No. Not at the moment, but yes.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'? When you find out, let me know.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

6) Bill or Ted? Bill.

5. Answers
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
Yes

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
No feelings other than they usually look like they're having fun. I tend to be more attracted to man, um, more on the overtly masculine side appearance-wise.

3) Commando? Yes or No
Sometimes

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
I'm gruntled. :7

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
I don't have any pets except an occasional carpenter ant that appears in my kitchen. I'd have no problems giving one of them up. :D

6) Bill or Ted?
Bill (I like underdogs)

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
no

8) Protection every time?
I'm monogamous and have an IUD. Non-protection for me usually results in a baby rather quickly. I tend to be a person who is just in long-term relationships, but for a few interim ones, um yes, condoms of course.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
I don't care really.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
No, I'm scared of semi-colon cancer (*groan* ok, that was bad).

6. My answers:
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

I do like my name - Catherine. It's a good solid, old-fashioned name.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

Can't say that I have. But I think they're cool. :D

3) Commando? Yes or No

Nope. I enjoy wearing my underthings.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Because of communism?

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

No. God, that's a hard question though.

6) Bill or Ted?

Definitely Ted.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

More so!

8) Protection every time?

Until you've both been tested and pronounced clean, then yes.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

No. I am also not sad that water is wet. :D

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

I believe that it is used wrongly most of the time; however, when used properly, it is a beautiful punctuation mark.

7. Mine:
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

Yes. If I were to change it, it would be to Vlad the Impaler.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

Never met a drag queen I didn't like. Attracted to? Probably.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Sure.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Same reason it's "pair of pants" but there's no single "pant"

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

No.

6) Bill or Ted?

Celibacy.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

Who did what now?

8) Protection every time?

No. Once, I shot a man in Brooklyn just to watch him die.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

More chicks for me.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

Ubercolon, not semicolon.

8. Sounds like a splendid week-end for you...
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

Yes, I'm more than happy with it.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

Not really my cup-of-tea, but on the right occasion they can be good fun.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Not for me, and on others it can take part of the fun away

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Because the 'dis' prefix in the instance means 'entirely', the suffix 'gruntled' being closely connected to "grumble"; cf. disembowled.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

I don't have any.

6) Bill or Ted?

I'm going to have to go with Bill.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

I've no idea what/who the Pussycat Dolls are, I'm afraid.

8) Protection every time?

But of course.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

Not at all, but neither am I happy.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

Horrifically and grotesquely; tragically and woefully underused.

9. Dude should go AWOL
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

The one I hate is my middle name: Harvey. There are probably worse names out there, but I'm having trouble thinking of them now.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

They're okay, generally not amusing enough. I'm bearer of a Y chromosome and my preference for those lacking such is near absolute.

That said, there was a person we saw in a hotel in Brazil, wearing a surprisingly modest top that was a print of Buddha images. I said to Mrs. Squeech, "Check out the Buddhas on that babe!" She said that it wasn't a babe.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Only on special occasions.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Good question. Not enough people attempt to gruntle their colleagues, I guess.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

Shit yeah!

6) Bill or Ted?

No.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

Probably not, but I don't know who they are.

8) Protection every time?

No.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

I'm disgruntled that Lance Bass's sexual preference is news.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

Certainly not; there's a prominent place for it in my own writing, for example. If the rest of the world doesn't use it enough, hey, more for me!

10. Uh-huh
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

Yep.

"Jehovah" might be god good.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

They're okay. Never been attracted to one (that I know of), but I met Lady Chablis and enjoyed her company.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Sometimes. Not usually in street clothes, though.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

I'm gruntling right now. Ask me anything.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

If I had any right now, no. Unless it was a pet Republican.

6) Bill or Ted?

Ted

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

I don't know. What is one?

8) Protection every time?

Not in the '80s (well, yes, I guess, but only conception protection) but ever since. Kinda irrelevant lately.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

If I knew who he was, no, probably not.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

Not; really.

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
It's ok. It's a little rare in America, but quite a bit more common in the UK.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
I was actually married to one (long sad story). He looked fine out of drag, but drag as a phenom, I just don't get it.

3) Commando? Yes or No
I will refrain from answering this question.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
Good question.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
No. It's too late to really matter. Had this question been asked in 2002, by all means yes, but now... the damage has been done.

6) Bill or Ted?
Bill

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
I can hardly snap.

8) Protection every time?
Yes

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
No. It's not like it was a secret or anything. "Lance Bass comes out, world says 'duh.'"

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
It's not part of the English language, but part of English punctuation. In any case, yes, it's underused. I think this is mostly from Elementary School teachers giving very vague explanations of what they're for...

It's a'ight. If I were to change, it would be to something cool, like "The Sword of Justice."

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
They're awesome! but I've not been attracted to any.

3) Commando? Yes or No
Nah.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
Same reason they're "disgusted," but not "gusted."

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
No. Hell no. They 'll be with me a lot longer than that fucker will be.

6) Bill or Ted?
Rufus.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
Yes. Really.

8) Protection every time?
Married and monogomous, so really no point in it.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
I don't give a fuck about Lance Bass; and even if I did, I wuoldn't care what he did in his bedroom.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
Not by me.

Yes, but I would love to be "Nick Danger"

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

Well, I'm usually not attracted to them but they had a few in Thailand that I swear were indistinguishable. They didn't even have adam's apples. And the only time I ever was attracted was on the CSI ep that had them - the murder victim was attractive in my opinion.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Winter in Boston? God No. Summer in CA? Sometimes

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Kind of like how we have fingers, but we've never seen them fing.

Sure

6) Bill or Ted?

Carlin

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

8) Protection every time?

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

No

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

It can be, but I'm an ex-journalist so I use the dash instead

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

2. Drag Queens are cool. I was attracted to one once, but it turned out she was a biological woman anyway (just having fun with the guys apparently) so I didn't feel too weird.
3. No.
4. I should know?
5. Impeachment isn't enough; I'd want him CONVICTED! Don't know what I'd give up for that.
6. Neither. Not a fan.
7. I don't snap soulfully at all, so no.
8. Nope. Happily married. Wife had her tubes tied.

17. My answers:
1) I like my name. Went through a period of time when I didn't, but that passed. Wouldn't change it.

2) Drag queens: I love 'em, the campier, the better. There were lots of them in the neighborhood I used to live it. Never been sexually attracted to one, if that's what you mean.

3) Commando: No.

4) I have no idea why people are "disgrunted" instead of "gruntled." Perhaps it takes too many contortions to be "gruntled."

5) Hard question, 'cause I love my pets. Perhaps I would, as long as they were sent to a place that was safe and loving for them.

6) Ted.

7) Absoutely as soulfully.

8) Protection? From what? Every time? What does that mean?

9) Hell, I didn't even know who Lance Bass was!

10) The semicolon is a horribly unused part of the English language; I say, let's use it to it's full potential!

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to? - Yes, I do like it very much. You would, too, if you'd know it. It sounds perfect.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one? - No. (Oops, on edit: That's two questions, so here's the answer for #1: ) Love 'em.

3) Commando? Yes or No - No.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'? - I'm gruntled a lot of times. :)

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached? - No. He's done in a few anyway. And I'm Swiss ...

6) Bill or Ted? - Huh?

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls? - Huh?

8) Protection every time? - Long long time ago ...

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay? - No. Who?

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language? - I think I'm using them quite a lot; in fact, I'm using it even here.

23. mmmkay..
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
It's okay. I prefer my middle name to my first, but I can deal with it.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
I think they wear more make-up than me (that's a feat, some days). Can't say as I have, ma'mam.

3) Commando? Yes or No
Right now, YES! It is HOT.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
I think I MAY have been gruntled once. On a bus. Don't tell.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
I don't have any pets, but if I did, yes.

6) Bill or Ted?
Bill, but only if he doesn't open his mouth.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
Doubtful, but I can try.

8) Protection every time?
Ne-vah! That's the joy of being the partner of one who is vasecti-fied!

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
I don't care either way.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
No. The most woefully underused is the cents symbol (which I don't know how to produce from a keyboard.)

24. Ok

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
Yeah, knowing who I am named after makes me comfortable with it.
2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
They can what they like, I've never even seen one much less been attracted to one
3) Commando? Yes or No
Nah
4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
English language is wack
5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
No, I love my dog and Bush being impeached doesn't mean he's removed from office anyway, I am a poli sci nerd so help me and even if Bush was removed it means President Cheney.
6) Bill or Ted?
Ted, and the best movie for me was the one with the time machine and little did I know at my 7 year old time that George Carlin was in it too.
7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
Eh?I don't know what that is
8) Protection every time?
Depends on the situation, if I were married and me and my wife wanted to have kids than no or if I was in a really stable relationship.
9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
No, even I knew he was gay when I was 12 and I have the worst gaydar ever, that's a fact.
10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
God no, I hated having to practice with it in my grammar courses. Yuck.

25. Here's my input to the string...
1. My name is fine, It's too late in life for me to think about changing it.
2. I think drag queens are a riot, and should be celebrated. No, never been attracted to one though.
3. Yes
4. It's a very good question. I'll have to ask someone smarter than me.
5. Give up my pets so Cheney can be President? You are kidding, right??
6. Bill. His career really hasn't taken off, and I feel kinda sorry for him.
7. Nobody snaps as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls!
8. No. I'm married and not out "hunting randoms" anymore.
9. I don't really care, but I'm sure it's a weight off of his shoulders and he's probably a much nicer
person to be around now that he's "out". So, if Lance is happy, I'm happy for him.
10. Not really, but I do think that the dangling participle could be used in much more effective ways
in today's literature.

26. Mine...
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
I do. I share a first name with one of our founding fathers.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
Some are very tallented. Attracted? Not rally, beyond "Wow, he's really pretty in drag". There is a very real and clear difference between that and suddenly seeing The Object Of Your Desire. Real attraction is not subtle, and I have never been really attracted to any person of my gender.

3) Commando? Yes or No
For years and years. But not much anymore.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
I don't think gruntled is a word. We have other words for that.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
Yes. I'd give up a lot. It it comes to the 1860s again, I'd give it all.

6) Bill or Ted?
Atracted to or behavior most resembling? Not sure of the Q.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
Let me put it this way. Fu Manchu!

8) Protection every time?
Long term monogamous, so none. But, if I were dating, yes. I'd carry my own and not ask.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
No.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
I think one should be careful when entering into semi-colon play. Communication and lubrication are key.

27. I'll bite.
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?
I've never liked my name, and to add insult to injury, everyone spells it wrong anyway.
I wish I'd thought of starting to go by my middle name as an adult, but it didn't occur to me
until recently. My middle name is Katherine, which I chose myself when I received confirmation.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?
No particular feelings one way or the ohter. No.

3) Commando? Yes or No
Sometimes.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?
Why would I care?

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?
No. Grace is my baby.

6) Bill or Ted?
I forget which was which. The one with the brown hair.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?
Probably.

8) Protection every time?
Not recently.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?
See my answer to #4.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?
In my writing, I'd say I probably overuse the semicolon.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'? but they are.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached? Sometimes I'd give them up for some ice cream.

6) Bill or Ted? Neither, dudette.

1) My real name with which my parents saddled me or my DU handle? I'm fine with my IRL name. My DU handle, on the other hand? I'm sick of answering the question "What's up with your username?" so I guess I would change it, given the chance, to "Zany Whitney."

2) No concrete convictions about drag queens. Not my kind of entertainment, though I've met some who I thought were very cool folks. Never been attracted to one, but the drag scene in Cleveland isn't exactly top-shelf, from what I've seen of it.

3) No.

4) I dunno about that - I once gruntled a really cute indie-rock chick in the ladies room at the Beachland Tavern.

5) I have no pets. Allergic to cats, landlord won't permit dogs, and things like fish and turtles are too much effort for too little fun.

6) Socrates.

7) Who's that you say?

8) Oh yes. Barebackin's just for partners you *really* know, and I don't think I really know anyone. Not anyone I have access to, anyway.

9) No. Neither am I surprised.

10) I think it's a wonderful punctuation mark, though I don't quite see how it's underused. It *does* seem to be falling by the wayside, in certain situations, in favor of the em-dash, though that itself is also a mark of quality.

35. Let there be illumination!
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

I'm not sure, I think I should've added Col. to it in hindsight

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

I've never knowingly been attracted to or felt one. Anything I might've discovered after the fact really has no bearing in it, now does it..

3) Commando? Yes or No

Seen it, it's decent. Half a thumb-up, maybe?

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

I believe gruntled is a verb and prounced along the lines of 'chipotle'

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

From experience, ritualistic animal sacrifice doesn't work, so don't bother

6) Bill or Ted?

Bill - BOGUS Ted - EXCELLENT

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

I'm a straight white male. I think that answers that..

8) Protection every time?

We have helmet laws for a reason, people!

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

No, this just confirms that God hates him.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

My belief system doesn't include the semi-colon; no, really!

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

Hmm…my name is not bad but I’d like a more Indian name to reflect my heritage more.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

Yes, occasionally but the knowledge that they are drag queens usually ensures that reality sets in

3) Commando? Yes or No

Not really

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

I don’t know. You may have to ask them

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

Nope. Having * impeached would make Cheney President. Now, if you’d rephrased the question as “would you give up your pets if it meant that * and Cheney would be impeached and Nancy Pelosi would become President”, that would probably generate some interesting responses

6) Bill or Ted?
I don’t know. Ted has that whole Chappaquiddick thing and I don’t think he should have challenged President Carter in 1980 but I must concede that I admire his unabashed and uncompromising liberalism and think he probably would have been a great President. On the other hand Bill was a great President and allowed me to spend my high school years in an environment of peace, prosperity and hope for the future.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

Maybe

8) Protection every time?
It’s a good idea

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

I’m not sad that he is gay –there is nothing sad about the fact that someone is gay/lesbian and indeed it is a fact that should be celebrated.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

Of course

53. LM scrounges up some answers
1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

It's okay I guess. I can't imagine having another.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

How can I look down on the only other people to buy heels in my size? Not something I'm into though, I have no attraction to women or men who look like them.

3) Commando? Yes or No

No. Chafing on the naughty bits = bad. Visible wet patches on outerwear = really really embarassing.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

Why not?

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

No.

6) Bill or Ted?

Is there a third option? Please? I can't stand stupid people. Goerge Carlin was in that movie. Can I have him instead?

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

Huh?

8) Protection every time?

I wear my seatbelt if that's what you're asking.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

Who?

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

I'd be perfectly happy if people managed to use commas and apostrophes correctly. Proper use of the semicolon seems like a happy dream.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one? No feelings either way. Have not been attracted to one.

3) Commando? Yes or No .....Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'? I have no idea.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached? This is the question that really prompted me to reply. No, my pets are my family. Would you give up your child?

8) Protection every time? Absolutely.

59. No. Count Pzerylwilkunterberg VIII.
2) I have no opinion on Drag Queens but to my knowledge have never been attracted to one.

3) Yes. In the early 1990's I paratrooped into a small central Asian nation, destabilized the government, lead a coup, and ruled the country with an iron fist for four years. Then I got bored and moved back to New Jersey.

4) Many people are in fact gruntled, or at least used to be gruntled when Bill Clinton was President, but they didn't know it.

5) I have no pets but I would give up your pets if * could be impeached.

6) I am very angry with both Bill and Ted, and therefore am going with Angela.

7) I do not snap as soulfully as anyone.

8) I am sterilized and monogamous.

9) Although I know zero about Lance Bass, I am sure that I'm not unhappy about his sexuality, any more than I am unhappy about mine.

10) Although Kurt Vonnegut advised against it's use under any circumstances, I'm not sure I have any feelings positive or negative about the semi-colon; I think it's used with exactly the right frequency.

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to?

It's fine. I like that people sound stupid when they say it.

2) What are your feelings re: drag queens? Have you ever been attracted to one?

I adore Darcelle XIV, Poison Marie Waters, et al., but would not date.

3) Commando? Yes or No

Can be very refreshing, but usually I don't.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'?

People like to bitch.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached?

No, because he would never be convicted.

6) Bill or Ted?

Be excellent to one another. I don't remember the exact quote.

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls?

I hope not. I dislike them very much.

8) Protection every time?

I am decertified.

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay?

Am I sad that water is wet?

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language?

I worry that it's woefully overused.

1) Do you like your name? If not, what would change it to? It's OK, but I wouldn't pick it. I'd like to be named Alexandra, Alex for short.

4) Why are people always 'disgruntled' but never 'gruntled'? Good question. I don't know.

5) Would you give up your pets if it meant * would be impeached? I don't have any pets.

6) Bill or Ted? Are they my only choice?

7) Do you snap as soulfully as the Pussycat Dolls? Absofuckinglutely

8) Protection every time? You're making assumptions that I'm 'getting some'

9) Are you sad that Lance Bass is gay? Not at all.

10) Do you believe that the semicolon is a woefully underused part of the English language? It's truly sad.
