5. I wanted to say Kafka, but I'm only vaguely familiar with his work.
I've read "The Trial" once, haha. That's it. It was great though.

I voted Chuck Palahniuk, because I'm much more familiar with his work.

Philip K. Dick for imagination. I'd have to admit that before I saw the poll and choices, my mind initially went to Kafka. :D

i liked palahniuk too until that last book, actually it was a good book but i just didn't need to read the chapter about the kid who chewed off his own large intestine in the swimming pool

he should get together w. stephen king and have a contest about who can write the most disgusting gross-out scene but i'll let the other fans read it
