THE TERMINATOR!! -- It Rocks!!
Edited on Fri Jul-28-06 07:44 PM by arwalden
It's full of surprises and you never know when it's going to strike. (Unless you've seen it already... but still!)

It's great... and all I can say is THE TERMINATOR is awesome!!

4. It is indeed a really good film
Full of pumping action but also very suspenseful. James Cameron at his best, I think.

The sequel was a lot of fun but not as edgy, dare I say arty, as the original. The second sequel was pretty nondescript.

7. I like it when he's in the hotel
and he has a list of things to say to choose from, something like: yes, no, please, thank you, fuck you asshole.

Guess which one he chooses

8. It's a good movie
Some of Arnold's best acting, too!

I liked Terminator 2 as well, though I agree with the above poster that it is not quite as edgy as the original

19. How the hell do you get lats like that?!?!
That's the key to looking truley ripped, a solid back because it gives that V torso but so few excersizes really seem to isolate back muscles well enough to achieve significant growth, it must take years upon years to get a muscular back.

17. Have you ever
noticed the blood and gore is minimal in the Terminator? The later two show more blood n guts but th first one seems to keep you more on the edge of your seat. At least it did for me. I love all of them but the first one I like best.

21. Additionally
Arnold doesn't kill anyone in the sequels, even before John Connor orders him not to.

I enjoyed all three. Even the latest one had much to recommend it IMO.

25. The second is my favorite
Edited on Sat Jul-29-06 01:24 AM by fujiyama
of the three though the first builds up the tension really well. The video quality on the Extreme edition of the T2 DVD is great and if you have a fast computer and a good display it's worth trying to play the HD WMV file.

The third is OK, but too much like the second. I loved the ending of the third though. IMO the film's worth watching for that.

Overall, the first two are action movie classics, and as I watch them I almost forget that the cyborg later becomes a brain dead governor.

28. Spoiler: re T3.
I was so relieved to see a "downer" ending in a contemporary sci-fi flic. I remember in the 70s and 80s, all the best sci-fi had downer endings: Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Sutherland), Andromeda Strain, the Planet of the Apes franchise, Mad Max...

Lately they've been squeaky-clean, everybody walking off together into the twin sunsets movies.

I paid for DOOM!
