There's a new art/music space in Tremont called The Church. It used to be located in Inside/Outside gallery but that gallery lost its lease, so the music bookers assumed the lease of a recently-defunct storefront church across the street (on West 14th). It's never more than $5 to get in, and it's BYOB, so one can get a six of whatever at the bodga across the street and have a fun night out on the cheap. And they still have all the pews.
