What happens when you have a new camera, a dark room... (large pics here)
.. and a cat waiting for you to lay down?

Shot in total darkness with a Kodak V530. This is the newest addition to the family.

As best as I can figure, he's a british shorthair/tonkinese mix. We found him wandering around outside, all skin and bones
(looked more like a siamese, but I knew the apple head of a British Shorthaie anywhere, he's put on about 10 pounds (weights
13) since we got him and he's a large teddybear (large purring, grunting teddybear)..

however, I wonder what he was doing when I snapped the picture... here's a closeup on his silly, blue eyed, crossed eyed face...

Check that CRAZY TOUNGE!

Oh, his name is Tonka (as in Tonka TRUCK, which he's built like!)

6. More great photos!! Boomer is a good looking cat! He looks
quite comfortable, too. Talk about a "cat that swallowed the canary" face...Boomer's got it!

7. He probably swallowed something.
Nothing is safe around him. It's like he's a shark stuck in a cat's body.

11. Oh yeah, a flash of course...
the builtin, I was just AMAZED at how good it was with a flash, not burned out or too dark, and even properly focused..
