A new game, perhaps?
Fictional characters only:

TV or film, or even if you think you can glean the results from reading.

Name some fictional characters and state what you (personally) believe their political affiliation would be, and why.

I went with TV and "Murder She Wrote." I believe because of all her world travels and her brilliant deductive mind that Jessica Fletcher must be a liberal. She was also an English school teacher, and respects everyone, regardless of what their station in life is. I believe that Amos Tupper (Tom Bosley) would also have been a liberal, since 1) it is Maine, after all; 2) while he's law enforcement, he's also helping people all the time; and 3) he's a good guy who would rather be fishing than putting people in jail. I believe that Dr. Seth Hazlitt is likely a moderate conservative. He just has a certain curmudgeonly attitude that reminds me of grandfathers who always start sentences with, "when I was your age...." I think that Sheriff Mort Metzger (Ron Masak, who came onboard when Bosley lefT) is also a conservative. He is a former NYC cop, is completely into the "law and order" dictate, and tends to follow evidence completely instead of relying on his gut instinct.

Disclaimer: this is about CHARACTERS and not the ACTORS portraying them. Just a fanciful game to see how much we agree on certain things.
