Vivid dreaming!
Last night I had a vivid dream where I was in New York, and Jon Stewart and I kept trying to find a place to go to be alone and enjoy his company (so to speak) but there were always too many people around for us to ever be alone and together. It was very frustrating!!!

5. Oh, that would be great!

Funny, I took a nap this afternoon because of sheer exhaustion, and it was really bizarre, because it was about the obvious battle between "good and evil" but it didn't span just earth, it was like a battle of time and space and all the many living beings across the universe and how some were essentially born "evil" and others were born "good." Really intriguing dream.

I would prefer, though, going back to Jon. It was far more realistic. :)

3. Here's my dream from a nap I took yesterday afternoon...

No celebrity "company enjoyment" but it's fun nonetheless...

The first starts out that there's this giant thunderstorm (I mean fucking HUGE). I see my mom out at the car bringing in groceries, so I run out to help her, but when I get outside, the sky had completely disappeared (just went all black, but somehow there was still sunlight). Somehow this doesn't phaze me, but mom's no longer at the car, so I go back inside. I look out the window again and it's just a normal day outside.

I go into my room, but it's actually the place where I work, but it's like a maze. I walk around and find my friend Steph and try to sit down, but for some reason I can't. (Something else happened at this point I think, but I forget what exactly.) I leave and am back at my house, but in the basement. My grandfather (who happens to be extremely religious in real life) is there, and he start's telling me about how all books are plagiarized because the ideas really all come from God but no one give credit, and then he realizes he missed the first third of his favourite radio show, and got really distraught, as though something bad was going to happen because of it, and keeps saying "Oh, goddamn it!" in the most distressed possibly way you can imagine. (My dreams are fans of irony, apparently.)

I leave and go back upstairs. This time my room is my room, but there are two mirrors hanging on the wall. One of the mirrors reflect what I would expect to see, the room, me, etc. The other mirror reflection shows me sitting at my computer and when I look at what should be myself in the mirror, I'm an obese naked woman.

4. I have such vivid dreams that sometimes I'm not certain of reality
I remember something that happened, then realize that I was dreaming at the time. It doesn't help that some of my dreams run like soap operas and pick up the next night right where I left off. Sometimes i think that the Twilight Zone was a documentary!

7. I used to have more vivid dreams but have had a few again lately
Last night, actually (well, today, really -- went to sleep at about 6 AM and woke up after noon), I had a very vivid dream that involved acute detail and seemed to play out in real time...kind of prosaic in its details even if the overall plotline wasn't. The night (day) before I had one that was not only detailed to an extreme in terms of the geography I covered but that featured topographic maps (of my home country) that I can even see now in my minds eye and that seem to have been mental fascimiles of the real thing...when I woke up, the thing I was most amazed by was that those maps seemed accurate in excruciating detail even though it's been close to 20 years since I left that country.

Haven't had (or remembered, at least) too many vivid dreams the last few years, until recent weeks, but I used to have them all the time and, like you, I used to have sequels and could even will a dream on -- it was kind of exciting to go to sleep, in anticipation of what the plot might reveal next, and for a while there I wrote my dreams down because they were so memorable.
