Have Any Of You Ever Successfully Posted In LBN?

I get stupid from time to time, & try, but have never had any luck. What's the secret? If it's a dupe, it can be hard to tell if they only have the 10 most recent posts, and how are you supposed to read through the last 20 pages of threads? By that time, it'll surely not be late breaking any longer.

but usually I post AR stuff and we almost always link in the group when we post stuff in LBN or GD, so it's easy enough to prevent dupes.

They are a little bit daunting, aren't they? At least, the ones I've seen are -- unmoderated, mostly, with lots of people posting their little diatribes.

if you have a local news source that you check often, you will sometimes be the first to post from that source

several times, maybe quite often, i am the first to post a news story from nola.com, the new orleans time-picayune (main) newspaper

some sink as of being only of local interest, but others do spark discussion
