2. I'm on my fourth Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic right now! |
|
Ha! Go figure, as much as I tout this drink around here...it's been one of those days, plus, it REALLY helps to beat the heat ( very refreshing ).

Given your time-zone, that's either very good or very bad.

4. It's VERY hot here today, and I did some house-work, so I'm a tad |
|
exhausted from it all....this drink manages to cool me off, though. And I'm beginning to think that Bombay is my favorite gin. It is extremely smoothe. A twist of lime does do wonders, though....

5. I just knew you were a man of exquisite taste. |

I keep Bombay Saphire, Tanquary, and Plymouth in most of the time - switching depending on my mood.

6. You mentioned this Plymouth brand in a previous thread....is it |
|
something I could purchase here in the States? Because there are other brands I would like to try ( like Boodles, which I hear is quite good ). But if you recommend it, I'm sure it would be heavenly!

12. I found some here in Virginia, on the strength of his recommendation. |

The man knows whereof he speaks. In fact, tjwmason is quite authoritative. Perhaps I mean he's an authority. Stopping talking about it now . . .
It's very smooth, Plymouth is.

Patron silver, but I had to stop because I'll need to drive my son's girlfriend home later.

8. I am drinking a mai-tai, but.... |
|
I do have a bottle of Tanqueray in the booze cabinet. It is for my brother-in-law, who is a martini drinker. Not a newfangled martini drinker...but one of years standing. On the rocks, very little Boissiere vermouth and a twist of lemon.
