HELP. Need a song or two to accompany a slide show at a wedding |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 01:39 PM by ComerPerro
The couple will be me and my GF (DUer Gilmore). No congratulations yet, we aren't even engaged. Not getting married till next fall.
But we are trying to get ideas now.
And, tacky as I know it is, we want to do a slideshow, because she takes a TON of pictures.
So here's the deal:
We are in our mid-20s, and threfore want to still feel cool.
We want songs that might be edgy, cool artists, stuff like that. None of the typical cheesy, sappy, wedding fare.
We are open to all suggestions.
As an example, one song we though would be cool to show pictures to at the reception is "Everything in its right place" by Radiohead.
Discuss.
We will consider all submissions.
The only catch is: We still want lyrics to be somewhat wedding appropriate.

I am so doing this, and she doesn't even know it!
EDIT: I can't shred, but I can change it around to more of the jamband-style I like to play

is a popular wedding song, although not exactly that version. Basic chords are D-A-Bm-F#m-G-D-G-A. Israel "Bruddah Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole's song Somewhere over the Rainbow/Wonderful Worldis a pretty good wedding song also.
