Ever been to Coney Island

I'm thinkin' about hopping on the subway for a birthday trip. Is it fun there? Where should I go?

2. Its a great vaudevillian throwback

mini golf, bumper boats, shoot the freak, arcades, ferris wheels, the cyclone, nathans, the aquarium, a minor league baseball game, and the boardwalk and beach. its super fun for a birthday celebration :D

great rides but on a day like today, you may want to just bring your bathing suit, blanket & towel..it's gonna be a scorcher.

9. Go On The Cyclone

Take a walk down the boardwalk or check out the Cyclones (minor league ball team) and the Aquarium is cool. It's a fun day, but keep in mind it's gotten pretty run down and it's not the best of neighborhoods anymore. I wouldn't go swimming in the water there anymore either.

I seem to recall that it had become very run-down and in disrepair, and that made it unpopular, which made more businesses move out, which just continued in a vicious cycle.

I only really enjoy it when there's some kind of event, but if you've never been I say it's worth the trip (take the express train though)
