7. Roger Deans covers for "Yes" and Hildebrandt's for "Molly Hatchet"

I had the grand pleasure of seeing of the original Dean paintings in NYC a few years ago. And I am totally kicking myself in the ass because I had a chance to buy a LE print of one of them, and I didn't because it was a lot of money, but it was money that I had and could have afforded... ARGH!

I think it was this one, from Yessongs:

12. I'm a huge comic/sci-fi/fantasy geek, so of course I love Hildebrand
And Boris!

If I'm ever rich enough to have a few thousand acres of land on which to put my house, I want Roger Dean to do my landscaping.

15. Partly that. And partly the love of the invincible warriors,
who symbolically stand for the geek (like me) for the ability to kick the shit out of the jocks and other clueless, ignorant shitbrained filth.

Thankfully, as I grew up, I realized that one doesn't need the giant invincible warrior archetype - as a geek, I learned that my geekness was weapon enough, giving me jobs and income and successes that none of the jock assholes could ever hope to achieve.

58. Being helpful gets us kicked out of the music snob's club
And it's not like us music snobs have a lot of other social options.

The truth is that I just couldn't find an internet image of the back cover of Let's Active's "Big Plans for Everybody"

Regardless, I stand by my statement that self-enlightenment is beneficial

41. The joke was that the crisis the band faced was how to follow up
their first major success "Crime of the Century" when it was clear the new songs just weren't up to the same standard. That said, "Crisis? What Crisis" is an enjoyable album in its own right with its own goofy underdog appeal.
