12. I saw a fucking hysterical Jon Anderson interview a few years ago.

Jackass was actually trying to cadge hip hop cred by professing his deep and undying love for a certain rap video, but he couldn't name the artist. So the interviewer asked him "Ludacris?" To which Anderson replied "YEAH! YEAH! HIM! HE'S GREAT!" Except the inteviewer was having one on him -- it wasn't a Ludacris vid he'd been describing. You got the feeling he would have gushed about any made-up name the inteviewer could have pulled out of his ass.

The truly funny part is even if you bust him on it he flat out wouldn't care.

I saw an interview where he was discussing how freaked out Trevor Rabin was in his first concert with Yes--and Jon was puzzled until he realized Trevore couldn't believe he was onstage with JON ANDERSON! (Not the band Yes--JON ANDERSON!) Yes, I'll admit I went through a Yes phase in college, and every now and then throw some in for ol' time's sake, but wow, that is a master work of self-absorption. I wonder if Steve Howe is the same way.

And for the record, wow, could Trevor Rabin ever BURN! Now there was an unrecognized shred guitarist.
