I saw "La Reve" and "The Beatles: Love"--2 new Cirque shows in Vegas |
|
"La Reve" was quite good, though it felt a bit like a more adult, abstract version of "O." (Lots of water, erotic imagery, etc.)
"Love," however, despite a couple drawbacks (almost no Beatles music pre-1966, some lengthy filler between set changes), was: stunning, moving, funny, inspired, brilliant, magnificent, rhapsodic, and heavenly.
If anyone else has seen them, feel free to comment.

1. So You Recommend "Love" ? |
|
How does it compare to "O"? That was the best Cirque show I've seen in Vegas.

After Mystere and O, Cirque seemed to take a few steps backwards with "Ka" and the adult themed show "Zumanity." I never saw either of those, but heard they were not nearly as good as Mystere or O.
