I'll tell you a true story |
|
if you tell me one. I'll even go first.
I went out on a date with a waitress who served me at lunch. Crappy waitress, but cute. During the date she told me about her dead brother. She said the police ruled it as a suicide--fell from a beachside cliff. He was a recovering addict, had a lot of problems.
He was with his girlfriend at the time. They took a trip to the Oregon coast to sort things out, and it was on a clifftop walk (there was a path) they took together that he fell.
The waitress insisted that the girlfriend pushed him. She just knew it. Adamant about it. Said the girlfriend was crazy. Said the girlfriend killed him.
Anyway, went out on two dates, and didn't call her again because she was a little off herself. No big deal. And I figured her suspicions of her brother's girlfriend was part of the grieving process--never believed the story.
Cut to a year later. I'm watching 20/20. Lo and behold, there's a story about "a woman who almost got away with murder...if it wasn't for the victim's family."
And there, in the courtroom, was the waitress. Turned out further investigation proved that the girlfriend did, indeed, push the guy over.
So there it is.

I didn't know what to say, and I though someone had already responded to it.
Like one time, I had this job, and I couldn't stand my co-worker. I was so glad when they hired a new girl, and I spent the day training her and telling her what exactly the co-worker that I did not like did wrong, and how her performance wasn't up to par. Turns out, later I find out it was the slack-ass co-worker that got her the job, and that they are best friends. Stupid me.
But I'm glad that the waitress got that girl tried. If you watch Court Tv at night like I do, you tend to think that this kind of thing happens in about 50% of all romantic relationships, lol.

I believe people, especially family can sense something like this. I have never really had any real enemies in my life but now there is someone I do not trust. I have told the police that if anything happens to me look to this person. Even if it does not go as far as murder I would not put it past them to try and set me up to get me into trouble. Sadly it is over my political beliefs & unfortunately we cannot completely avoid each other. We never argue or talk about it anymore but I can feel the hate so strongly it gives me chills. I have tried everything to just get along and sometimes it seems to work a little but they can never look me in the eye. They are hiding some evil thoughts and I just "know" it.

3. Many times in the past |

I have wanted to pull a waitress close, and felt as though my mind was going off a cliff.
I won't anymore.
You are kidding? Right?
If not, damn, what a hell of a story.
