Update on Marla Monster Kitty (rescued from the side of the road - PICS)

10. Her coloring is really nice. She was never in that bad shape

physically, I just almost assume the worst. She did have a burnt paw pad and I'm not really sure how that happened. She may have hitched a ride on a car engine - hard to say. Her tail, which looked so bad was covered in roundworms, so it was never anything serious. The biggest danger was that she was right on the side of the road, looking to get hit by a car.

I know a woman who got her wonderful cat that way. She called it Lucky.

There was a house nearby, but she had obviously been outside for quite some time.

in Scotland County just north of the exit from Laurinburg that I found her. It was dark, late at night, too, so I thought she was a possum or something at first.

I'm sure, from what I've heard, that Scotland County has more than its fair share of kitties that need adopting. I'm glad you saved her. She's so adorable. She looks like she has settled right in. Hopefully, she'll give you lots of love for years to come. It looks like she loves to play. I call by babies hellions because they get into so much. They are just like their momma, :evilgrin:.

When you said you had too many cats, I looked up your profile to see where you live so we could offer to take her...but you're in NC. Too bad you're so far from Texas. Besides, I bet you are already too attached. I don't think I could ever give up such a wonderful cat, as Marla! Thanks for the update; I was wondering how she's doing.
