What musical group do you like only ONE song by?
For example, the only song by ABBA that I ever liked was "The Visitors."
The only song by Guns & Roses I liked was "Sweet Child of Mine"
The only song by Fleetwood Mac I liked was "Bare Trees" (with the possible exception of "Gold Dust Woman")
The only song by Supertramp I liked was "Take The Long Way Home"
Your examples?

1. Coolio. "Gangsters Paradise."
I think it's a terrific song in a genre that otherwise does absolutely nothing for me.

That should be all there is to that, no matter how anyone else feels.

34. Yeah. But have you seen what's gone on here with regard to
restaurant choices? People take some things VERY seriously & criticism of a band could potentially stir up some passionate emotions. Hope not though. It wouldn't change my mind!

people are arguing such points. Some information is bound to be useful, but there is simply way too much chaff to find it.

11. Goldfinger Here In Your Bedroom
They were one of those alt-rock bands from the mid-90s. The song perfectly captured something that was going on with me at the time. A radio station had a booth and offered me the CD of my choice. I picked theirs up but think I only listened to it once. The rest was utter derivative crap.

There's probably no classic rock song I hate more than "Hotel California", and all the rest of their stuff is a cross between bad country and black-hole-of-the-seventies pop.

31. It's one of my favorite power-chord-turn-up-the-volume tunes.
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 03:55 PM by Common Sense Party
Kind of southern-folk-rock to start with, then BAM! the power chords crank up and blow you away.

Here they are playing it live on YouTube. I like the studio version better, but this is still good:

3. Fly me courageous.
4. Let's go dancin.
5. The Whisper tames the lion.
6. Look what you've done to your brother.

Check them out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, Drivin and Cryin is the
quintessential "college band".
