Good Wednesday morning, crew!

Hi again crew, it's me again, welcoming all to the beginning of hump day! :bounce:

:grouphug:

That's right crew, today done and you get clear sailing to the weekend. :woohoo: I think we can all use a nice weekend R&R, though I must admit I feel heaps better this morning.:headbang: Still somewhat busy so I may take a little bit to respond, but don't worry. :)

Today was good, my first capoeira class of the semester! :bounce: Boy, am I sore!:nopity: But it is a good sore. :bounce:

How is everyone? Anything special coming up? For me, I have a BIG physics project coming, will tell more soon, but we are still planning ideas - probably finding one of the fundamental constants of nature, or the strength of gravity or some such in a novel way. (I know, nerd alert but :nopity:) Any way it goes, it will be fun. :D

Time to rise and shine, crew! :bounce:

The song of the day is "The happiest days of our lives" by Pink Floyd.

(As in the one with "YOU! Yes, you! Stand still, laddie!)

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art, disguised as dance. It is a lot of fun, but I mostly do it to get flexible. Sheesh it works!

13. Halfway. I had lessons before, but not for a while.
But quite a few pieces of me are not working right now. :(

But it is a good sore, because by the end I could put myself in a space that is not very big, and other strange things.

Actually, I think I might be able to, now I think of it.

I know the feeling about anticipating gym.... my advice is to learn to NOT associate 'gym' with 'pain'. :)

24. Easier said then done
but actually it is less the pain than the going itself. I am not a big fan of sport but I want and need to go the gym so that I stay fit.

Urgh, the dilemmas of a modern life. I wish all that I had to choose was whether or not to go "Huh?" when I was eaten by a saber tooth tiger.

35. Morning MissH!
So your weekend plans include catching up on your sleep! Those sound like great plans to me, and I will be doing a little of that myself. That and catching up on domestic chores But I did none of that last weekend, and am a bit behind. Actually, once I get into it, doesn't really take that long.

Additionally a date? A guy you met on-line? How brave of you.

I finally got a dryer last weekend so I will have SMOOTH and SOFT towels in the future :bounce:

I met some guys already in RL that I met online. It is easier for me to meet them online, talk with them and then meet. Sometimes it is a good date, sometimes I wish I could leave right away.

49. I suspect that
there is no great formula for meeting guys. They can be creeps if met in RL or online. I know girls who have met their SO's on-line, so I guess it's just another alternative to meeting people. I have some friends that are encouraging me to do that, but I just haven't gotten up enough nerve!

I've gotta fill up my travel mug and get outta here.

Yeah, poor RA. He got a zillion questions about capoeira, but doesn't it sound intriguing. It's something I'd like to try, but I haven't heard of it before, so it's rather doubtful that classes are available here. Oh well . . .

Yes, I am in a good mood, much better than yesterday morning. I think it's because I'm almost done with a VERY BIG PROJECT at work, and that's always a relief. But there's alway more projects on the horizon, huh!
