Police Bust Meth Lab At Harrah's Casino

(KSDK) - Police busted a methamphetamine lab overnight Thursday at Harrah's Hotel and Casino in Maryland Heights.

It was about 4:30 in the morning when a smoke alarm went off inside a hotel room alerting police.

Missouri Highway Patrol spokesperson Sgt. Jason Clark said, "During (the officer's) investigation, he discovered an active meth lab inside the hotel room."

It took me several years to realize Crystal City wasn't called that because it sparkled. ;)

2. that is hilarious in a sick kind of way

my favorite harrah's crime ring is the one in vicksburg where the staff quietly shipped themselves half a million dollars over rigged dice pay-outs

it was pretty simple, the eye was in on it at certain shifts, so the dealers would make "extra" pay outs to confederates

one day a confederate stopped at the truck dealership on the way to give one of the dealers her share and blew all the cash thus had nothing to give the gal her share

she immediately informed the police and the gaming commission

and they were all busted -- a sweet ring that had already shared out half a million dollars spoiled because one dweeb couldn't stop himself from blowing $35K on a new truck instead of splitting w. his partners first!

pretty sure that harrah's ain't there any more, not under the harrah's name anyway

they also had some other sweet scams, but nothing like the dice ring
