Anyone care to explain why, during the greatest summer ever for me...
Edited on Fri Aug-11-06 11:42 AM by HEyHEY
I've twice in the last couple of weeks woken up in the middle of the night having a defcon three ranked anxiety attack?
Last night I woke up just fucking wired, it felt like I took an adrenaline shot. I'm still kind of shaky this morning. What gives?

2. that happened to me one time, I will never forget it...
Sacred the bejeebus outta me. At first I thought I was having a heart attack. Only the one time for me though. Don't know why or what caused it and I hope I NEVER have another one. No clues for you just thought I'd share my experience in the hopes that you can find some comfort in knowing that you are not alone:hug:

3. If it continues, have it checked out
by a doctor. I'm serious.

You need your sleep.

4. Sometimes the human mind stores up stress until it can be safely let out
If you've had a great summer, it's possible that your brain is now unscrambling leftover crap from an earlier season which it chose to bury and suppress for the sake of short term functionality.

This is a total BS answer, by the way

haven't given enough attention? I'm sorry you are dealing with this.

8. Nah, nothing
Except for my usual crazy-disorder. But this has never happened before.

7. panic attacks
I know quite a few people who have had the same experience as you...some while driving, some while shopping, just about anywhere, with no apparent reason or cause. Some have claimed there is nothing going on in their life to cause any stress, some were going through a stressful situation, but when they panic, it has nothing to do with the activity at hand, in your case non-activity-sleeping.

Why don't you just call your doctor, perhaps it has nothing to do with anxiety, it could be something medical.
