The DU Fantasy Premier League is up and running!

Just to let everyone in the lounge know that we have set up a DU fantasy English Premier League and as the real thing is starting next week now is a good a time as any to post this upstairs in the Lounge.

If you wish to join the DU fantasy soccer league go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/index.html register and create your team.

Then you will need to join the DU Premier League. To do that click onto "Leagues" and in the box for joining a private league, type in 59073-54733 (or cut & paste it from here if you like!). You will then be eligible to compete with the rest of us to have the best fantasy English Premier League side! :bounce:

Anyway, if you are still in need of some footy action, the Community Shield is this weekend, and the lower leagues have a full programme of fixtures. I will actually be at the worst football ground in England (Layer Road) to watch my local team (Colchester United) take on Barnsley today. If you have anything to say about the upcoming football season, such as the likelihood of Chelski winning the title yet again or the even bigger likelihood of Neil Warnock acting like a tosser then here's as good a place as any to vent your spleen as well!

and yes, promotion for Forest will be welcome. Forest deserve better then to be the obligatory League 1 meal ticket.

Mind you, we have our own problems at the moment, what with all our strikers being injured and there being no money to get anyone in on loan at the moment.
