Gentlemen, How Tall is Too Tall? |
|
Just curious what amount of height difference (female taller) my fellow male (and female, if you've been in this situation) DUers are comfortable with and/or have had work out well for you?
I'm talking to a woman online and long distance, who is 6'. I'm 5'9".
I know the stereotype is that it is the woman who really, really wants the taller man. And I think that would be her preference, but she is quite sure that she will be fine with my height (though she's never dated anyone 3" shorter than herself). I guess on the one hand, I'm still a bit concerned that when we meet, it will be a bigger rather than smaller hurdle for her to overcome, and, well, vice versa where I'm concerned.
My ex was 5'9", and physically it was not ideal... but I'm not so sure that that wasn't because she was subconciously sabatoging our physical relationship. All my other relationships have been with women who were at least a couple inches shorter.

1. Surely I'm not the only person this fucking shallow? |
|
We can work in the "boob pocket" angle too, if that helps?

is 6' even but she thinks it's un-feminine for a woman to be that tall so she tells eveyone that she's 5'12". By the way, she really has a thing for guys shorter than her. Her current boyfriend is 5'7". They make a really cute couple!

9. My current GF is 5'10". Same height as I am. |
|
And I have no problem with that. She never wears heels so we are at the same level. I find tall women very sexy!

13. 8'6" would be a bit too tall. |
|
But otherwise it don't see it as an issue.
