On her way to Minnesota, she stopped by so we could meet each other and have lunch.

( She only got lost a few times on the way from Pennsylvannia. :D )

A fun day was had by all. There was good conversation, much laughter, stuffed-crust pizza for lunch, Godzilla 2000 on the DVD player, and relaxing while watching the kids swim in the back yard pool. The 5 kids had a blast playing with all the toys strewn around both floors, and did not want to leave (hers) or stay (mine). It's always great to meet another DU'er in person, and I was honored to meet miss_american_pie, her 2 kids, and their friend...

She's cute as heck, smart, funny, and Liberal!

Be not shy, nor self-effacing without a reason to. When I got divroced, that was a great lesson I learned from my (female) counselor. Just because you've gone through the wringer, that does NOT mean you'r not a good guy with something to offer.

And if this doesn't work out, do not feel defeated. Many fish in the sea, and all that.
