Poll question: What should we rename our house? |
|
It's been known far and wide as The Church of The Big Giant Cat for a while now. Imhotep has outside privileges with adult supervision, and lately, the other cats have become interested in checking out the back porch area. We are NOT under ANY circumstances going to let any of the kitties outside for more than 10 minutes at a time, or without at least one human being there, but I've apparently created a monster by letting Socrates check it out this afternoon. The s.o. just hit me with "It's Catghanistan back here!" while getting a coke out of the fridge, surrounded by small furry people who want to go outside even though it's pitch dark by now.
I think Catzerbaijan is cooler. What think you?

1. I've seen a good one in the past |
|
I used to regularly drive by a house with a sign on the fence that announced to the world it was the "Chateau Deyo". I always thought that was pretty cool.

It wouldn't be a problem if the yard were enclosed, but it isn't - at least not all the way - and it would be way too easy for any of the kitties to get out and become street pizza. We do have a completely enclosed atrium where they go work on their naps and tans and such, but I guess I need to add a planter full of grass or something like that. :D

Socrates was batting at the keys in the back door to express his desire to go out. All of 'em are way too smart for their own good - or mine.
Kitty raiders is right - you should hear the sounds of carnage at breakfast. It's the only meal of the day where they'll all eat together, and it's not a pretty noise.

We used to have our home named partly for one of the cats and partly for its location...we have a cat named Rio, and our house was on a river, so we called it RioHaven.
