I want to apologize...When I first discovered DU, I was heartened by

how many people were here discussing issues and making friends and just having a discourse about the issues. I thought I was being smart & sassy, so I started playing devil's advocate. Nothing wrong with that if you know what you are talking about! I was not a scholar; so I am sorry I claimed to be a conservative libertarian even though I enjoy smoking pot. I am also very sorry I defended the comedy of Larry the Cable Guy, it was only because he is a fellow Nebraskan. He is vile and does not count as a Nebraskan, we are much more couth about our comedy. Now if people think this is not a sincere apology, it is, I wanted to explain why I have been this way. Take it or leave it, I love y'all!

trying to feel my way in that I had some opinions that I had changed because of DU (not a bad thing) and if because of those earlier episodes I had made a bad impression. I just wanted to say that DU allowed me to see things from a new perspective & it is a learning curve. So how may I be obnoxious but not offensive?
