Poll question: Grilling Poll: Name Your Preferred Method!
I have a Weber 23 1/2 inch 'One-Touch Silver' Kettle, basic black, and I use 100% Mesquite Lump Charcoal.

I light the charcoal using Weber cube starters, with a chimney.

1. Other: I use both
a gas grill and a charcoal grill. When using the charcoal grill, I do it the same as you.

I like using the charcoal grill when I'm cooking meat. I prefer the gas grill for veggies & fruit.

However this summer I've been using the gas grill for everything because of the burn ban here.
