I have finally finished my job up! :woohoo:
no more work till September 18

I got my sister to IL for school
and I'm getting ready to return to CUNY on Aug 30 :dunce:

and today I got to sleep in late! :headbang:

ahhhh, life is good :D

How are y'all doing out there?

1. Woo-hoo! I am sooooo happy for you!
It was a long time coming, wasn't it! :bounce: :bounce:

After working too hard for several weeks, we had a great weekend in a mountain holler in Bath County with some friends with a family cabin up there. We went hiking on ridges and followed the railroad through a tunnel (KIDS, do NOT try this at home!) soaked our buns in the ancient and venerated gentleman's pool at the warm sulphur springs and did a spontaneous mud therapy thing in the crick in the holler.

Left me feeling good all over! And I'm in a much better mood than I have been for a couple of weeks. :D

2. that sounds like a great trip!
super relaxing and great fun all at the same time! and who doesn't love wallowing in some mud every now and then? oink

I had a crazy last few weeks at work. I was asked to stay on a little longer to train replacements, then I had to move my sister to school for her second year. boy do i have stories! moving into a sorority house at the school with the biggest greek life in the country?!?! insanity!

I'm so happy to be home now though and just unwinding...but i have a ton of cleaning to do in my apt. :puke:

:loveya:

3. Sorority House?
I hate to think what you might have been exposed to. Did you have to learn any porch routines? :scared:

I sure would buy you a drink to celebrate if we could find a convenient tavern. :toast:

Pace yourself with the cleaning!

bah, i wish i could have taken this weekend down in VA instead

that tavern would have been a great idea...somewhere in between baltimore and philly....if i only had a car :evilfrown:

cleaning my apt. is the scariest. shit. ever. :scared:

4. All's good here.
I would suggest that you pop over to visit...but it might not be the best time, not least as some of the suspects were arrested within walking distance of here ( :scared: ).

32. There's no way I could do that with LeftyKid
unless I could get him into the campus childcare. Currently there's a waitlist, though apparently it'll be easier to get him in as a returning student.

but you seem to have a pretty conducive schedule luckily.

and will the "returning student" come into play next semester or next year?
