Your favorite BAD movie?
"From Justin to Kelly" was so bad that I went and bought a DVD and I NEVER buy DVD's. I happened to catch "Coyote Ugly" this weekend and that got near but still stayed just outside the castle walls.

I once sat through all three "The Substitutes" on a wintery TNT Saturday crap-a-looza. The actually improved with Treat Williams in the title role but then how could they not?

I have heard that "McBain" (sp?)is supposed to be really really bad.

And I recently caught "First Blood" late one Friday Night on FX and was shocked at how bad it was.

Oh one more- "Reality Bites" not badly made just the most obnoxious movie ever made.

SO what is your favorite guilty pleasure?

The Party Animal (1984)

Pondo Sinatra is a college boy with a problem: women will have nothing to do with him. It's not that he was raised on a chicken farm and, literally, came to school on the back of a turnip truck. It's not that he is a virgin and jinxed, and every move he makes around a woman backfires. The problem is that god and heaven have set themselves against Pondo loosing his virginity. That is until Pondo discovers the secret formula to the most powerful aphrodisiac in the world and becomes....... "The Party Animal"!

Clash of the Titans

Big Trouble in Little China

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (the Gil Gerard one that became the TV series)

Bachelor Party (with Tom Hanks)

both "Bill & Ted" movies, and their predecessor, "Summer School" with Mark Harmon.

"Just One of the Guys" - the reverse 'Tootsie' set in high school...

Joyce Hyser was awesome, dudes!

Actually, many critics think so now, as well. Great adaptation of "Twelfth Night."

It was filmed at and around my very own high school, Coronado High in Scottsdale, AZ, too. The house they lived in was nearly identical to one of my best friend's.

I think every straight or bi male out there probably has fond memories of Joyce Hyser in that movie. The scene where she ripped off her top to prove she was female was very, um, memorable.

I don’t recall seeing her in many other movies, however. Whatever happened to her?

I do remember seeing the guy that played her brother 'Buddy' in a few other movies.

38. a new favorite of mine -- "Doogal"
Jon Stewart provides the voice of the animated villain ... admittedly he doesn't sound evil enough to convince me. His asides will probably baffle children (and even adults who aren't familiar with American society). Somehow I can't picture 3-year-olds knowing what he means when he snarls "Talk to HR!" -- and I suspect many Europeans may also be perplexed, unless they already know that this stands for "Human Resources", as an administrative department in many companies or agencies.

The bad
You are introduced to a large number of intensely annoying characters, then watch them do intensely annoying things while spewing intensely bad dialog.

The good
You get to watch most of them get dismembered by giant space bugs.

60. "Postman" wasn't that bad
Many, many flaws, including:

1. Too long and sluggish

2. Costner's vanity in that very young women want to sleep with him and have his baby

3. Costner's messiah complex

4. That damned statue of him at the end

Good things about it:

1. The guy playing the general was pretty good.

2. I like post-apocalyptic flicks

3. Tom Petty's bitchen' cameo

4. At least Costner didn't drink his own piss

Total idiot, elected Presdident only because of his last name, moves White House out west (California) and renames it: "The Western White House." Plus, the country is SO broke, we have to hold a telethon to save it.

Seems a bit too real these days.

in the Avocado Jungle of Death.

Starring Bill Maher and Adrienne Barbeau. I'd love to watch it again if only I could find it.

Edited to fix the name, I wasn't sure what it was exactly until I googled it. :)

75. Agreed
I've seen them all.Repeatedly.
Indeed Plan 9 showed this weekend at the Tivoli theater in Saint Louis.
I do think plan 9 edges out Queen of Outer Space.
The latter movie employed all of Alta's dresses from "Forbidden Planet" . And that raises production values just too high...

84. I agree - Queen is only worth 1 or 2 viewings, while Glen is good for 3 or
4, Robot 4 or 5, and Plan 9 can be watched over and over again without getting boring.

Arch Hall, Sr.'s attempt to make an acting, singing heartthrob out of his son Arch Hall, Jr., apparently oblivious to the fact that Junior couldn't act, couldn't sing, and had a face like an evil Cabbage Patch Kid.

92. Dino deLaurentiis' Flash Gordon
The Bad

1) Nakedly transparent attempt to cash in on the success of Star Wars.

2) Flash using his mad football skillz to fight evil.

3) Ming seriously needs to brush up on the Evil Overlord list.

4) Brian Blessed chewing scenery like a starving man.

5) Over-the-top score by Queen.

6) Flash has the intelligence and charisma of a tree stump, yet manages to lead a rebellion

The Good

1) Brian Blessed chewing scenery like a starving man.

2) Over-the-top score by Queen.

3) Max von Sydow as Ming is just some brilliant casting.

4) Interestingly goofy sets.

5) Funny intro with Ming's disaster machine.

94. Glen or Glenda?
captivating Ed Wood flick about a man defending the practice of men wearing women's underpanties narrated by Bela Legosi who interpolates such desultory remarks as "Beware! Beware of the big green dragon that sits on your doorstep. He eats little boys, puppy dog tails, and BIG FAT SNAILS... Beware... Take care... Beware!" and "Pull ze string!" over and over for no good reason.

....Hilarious!!

It was one of the first movies with THX surround sound, though. You could not beat the sound effects in the theater if they had surround capabilities.

Michael: Do you see this writing...? Do you know what it means...? Hospitality. And you can't piss on hospitality! I WON'T ALLOW IT!

Joshua: What are you going to do to me, Daddy?
Michael: Tightening my belt one loop so that I don't feel hunger pains, and your sister and mother will have to do likewise. Okay, Joshua. You wanna get rough with me? You wanna show me that you don't like the choice of this house for our vacation by going on a hunger strike? Well, I'll accept the challenge. But just remember when I was your age, I really did suffer from hunger. We'll se who gets through this, but just remember I've got more practice than you. I'll see you tomorrow.

Classic!
