ruined when you fold the coin in half.

3. I am something of a coin geek

I have the complete set of the 'Westward Exploration' nickel series set up in a display case, along with the Sacajawea dollar coin, just to complete the theme.

And yes, I collect the state quarters too. :-)

4. Someone gave me a Sacajawea in change a couple of weeks ago. I just

dumped the change in my pocket without looking, or I would have told them about it (I'm weird that way). I didn't notice it for a week or so, just transfered the change from one pocket to the next. Came in handy at a yard sale when I didn't have any cash.

1. Why is Khan pictured on the nickel?

2. The cost to make one nickel is $00.0573. Nearly 6 cents to make a 5 cent coin. :eyes:
