Poll question: Line up, Sign up if you hate your job or your boss or both or neither.
I swear to God, if the company went bankrupt and laid everyone off, I would get drunk to celebrate.

And the monster weasel I work for is no prize either.

I'm 53 years old, and I wish I could feed the family as a greeter at WALMART. I'd do it in a second.

1. past tense. I hated my job
but generally liked my manager and co-workers. Got laid off in April. I need to get off my ass and figure out what I want to be when I grow up. (and I'll be 50 this Fall. sigh)

2. Job's good, boss is a weenie
I'm actually making (a bit) of money as a writer--and that kind of a job isn't easy to come by. But the bossman? The most insecure, paranoid, hateful little maggot I've ever come across. Behaves like he's in seventh grade--talks behind people's backs, lies if he gets caught making a mistake, can't hold a conversation, and worst of all is the most NEGATIVE pessimistic person on the planet.

Other than that, he's great!

Sigh. Too bad my religion has that tenet "harm none." Otherwise I might not be responsible for my actions...

3. I am pretty much my boss...
Sometimes my boss doesn't demand enough of me. Sometimes my boss takes up too much of my time with stupid stuff...well, you get the point. :hi:

5. How about "my job's all right and my boss is okay"
No superlatives either way but not too much to complain about.

8. Same here.
Good boss, "I want to slit my writs" boring job. I guess that's why I spend all my work hours here at DU.
