Ask any ten DUers who's a jerk, get ten different answers, know what I mean? So long as one isn't the consistently disruptive kind of jerk, hey, whatever.

But it IS against the rules to use DU to drum up support for a candidate who isn't running in the Democratic party, which, by my understanding, is what happened.

As for purges, nah, don't worry. Ideological purges haven't happened here, and I don't forsee it happening. DU represents the entire left spectrum, and while DLC types (just for one example) aren't necessarily very popular here, it's not against any rule to be of any particular political bent - except Republican.
