I think I'm burnt out
I have started a new job, but after four days had to take a day off.

I have a hard time thinking about going to work tomorrow.

I'm sick of this shit.

I almost wish I would have a damn stroke tonight.

do you love your job?

i don't think I can continue to do what I've done for a bunch of years.

I think I am worn out. an old rug.

I don't know what else to do.

3. I hope you feel better.

I've had jobs like that.

Maybe it's time to look at career changes?

I'm 55, have been substitute teaching for six years,
and I'm definitely looking into a change!

Yeah, I know. It's harder when you're older.

5. I haven't had a full time job since mid-May.
It's scary. My hands locked up on me at that one, otherwise I'd still be at it. I wish I could've kept going, because it had the potential to be a really good job. I'm sorry it's not going well. Working sucks...but if you can stand it it's better to go back, unless you have a really big cushion in the bank. I'm looking at not being able to pay a couple of bills come the end of the month, which never happens, no matter what, I always pay my bills on time. Work is one of the things that makes me sure that this is in fact purgatory.

6. That is a shame.... what about it is stressing you out?
Maybe some suggestions from the Lounge could help you adjust to the new job?
