Repeat question for the night Lounge gang... |
|
Need a recommendation for a used book shop, please,
along I-75 between Dayton, Ohio and Gainesville, Florida.
Could be any town along the way.
'Would appreciate any DUers' inside scoops on the best bookshop for used book selection & price.
Thanks in advance.

1. Are you looking for rare books, or just used books in general? |

2. Used books in general. Someone we know making that I-75 trip is |
|
trying to reconstitute a personal library.
So wide selection and good price are key.
Any advice you have would be welcome & appreciated.

3. There are 2 places in Chattanooga, TN |
|
that my mom said are pretty good. She had started to take a vacation there with her sister, and her sister ended up in the hospital, so mom bought some used books to while away the time.
One is McKay's, which, in addition to standard fare, carries a lot of used textbooks, The other is Grumpy's. I'm not sure where they are in relation to the Interstate....I just know that the interstate passes by the city.

4. It sounds as if Grumpy's might be the spot there in Chattanooga. |
