I should complain to Stephen Colbert
Edited on Thu Aug-17-06 03:47 PM by ZombieNixon
The New Yorker's article about Wikipedia failed to make a single mention of Stephen's brave crusade to save the African Elephant. :grr:

Why does the New Yorker hate America, the bastards?!!

2. I dunno.
My parents have a New Yorker subscription so I read it there. It's probably online somewhere, though.

6. Oh I do remember hearing something like that...
But to be honest, while I like Wiki, I've wondered how long it would take for misinformation to take over...

4. Didn't Wiki get pissed off about that because people actually
went and changed the articles?

9. Well, on one episode,
Edited on Thu Aug-17-06 07:39 PM by ZombieNixon
he exhorted his viewers to edit the Wikipedia article on the African Elephant to say that the population of African Elephants had tripled in the last six months. And a lot of people actually went and did it.

:hi: :loveya:
