How is everyone today? I'm fantastic! We went to check on the progress of the house yesterday. They have the basement dug! Yes, I took pictures. I just haven't uploaded them yet. Patience. This is all so exciting! I wouldn't be surprised to see a concrete truck over there today! :bounce:

Ahhhh, slept in this morning. I think I would have stayed in bed longer, but my cat, bless her soul, thought I should get up and feed her. After all, she did let me sleep longer than usual.

What does your kitty do to wake you up? Mine have different methods. Sabrina pukes on the floor -- that always gets me up. Satchmo turns on the lights or pushes things off the dressers. Or he nibbles on my fingers. Sophie cries. Sashka's the only one who is patient.

I'm a happy girl, too. Harleydad's upstairs making his breakfasts. And he has the day off ... and Monday, too! :bounce: We're both posting in our jammies! You REALLY have the day off today, don't you! :applause:

BTW, I won't be here on Monday. It's our anniversary and we're going away for the day. :woohoo:

Oh my kitty meows and loudly, and if that doesn't work she sits on my chest and gently taps my face with her paws. It's so cute, but if I don't respond to that she stands up and meows right in my face.

Yeah, she's a sweetheart. She's in her waning years, so I'm taking REAL good care of her, catering to her every need.

Sure hope all is well with Clint. I do miss him, he's such a nice guy. I'm just hoping that he's just too busy, and if that's the case, that he's taking time to rest. She's on several meds (which make her feel a LOT better) and cat food from the vet. Special stuff that helps her kidneys.

I'm sure you and harleydad will have tons of fun on Monday, and you may even get out of bed for a while.

Ah . . . Clint said he'd be back soon? Yes I remember a thread alluding to that fact, but you're right, he knows when he's ready. It truly is a commitment doing this morning crew thread. It's quite labor intense, but we get so much fun out of it.

Yes, he drives the minivan to FL. He commented yesterday about how it makes the trip so much easier. It is a very sweet ride! I drove it when we moved up here.
