The pilot episode was available on Netflix, and let me tell you kids. Aaron Sorkin has not lost his fastball at all. It is a mixture of the set of Sports Night and the dialog of the West Wing. This takes place on a SNL type program called Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Brad Whitford is brilliant as usual, and Matthew Perry who I feel is underrated sometimes is great too. Steven Weber and Amanda Peet...oh hell the whole damn group is good. This first episode takes shots a Pat Robertson also, so that is not all bad. The best part is right at the beginning when Judd Hirsch goes all Howard Beale from Network on the audience and gets fired, the reason that TV is shit right now because it has to be written basically for the people that keep shows like Joey on the air. If you have a chance check it out.
And no I don't work for NBC.

I'm a huge WW and SN fan, so I'm expecting this one to be just as good.
