I was going to post this in the Computer DU group, but I'm poor and therefore don't have access. :(
Does anyone know if I can find out what has eaten up all my memory. Yesterday I had almost 3 gigs free, and this morning I had less than a gig. I haven't downloaded anything or installed any new software. Is there a log or history somewhere?
Thanks. :)

1. I assume you mean hard drive space? |
|
If so... you can search your drive to show all files created/modified in past day.

sorry I didn't make that clear. I'll try a search right now.
Thanks.

3. If you really did lose that much space in a day, something is whack. |
|
That's just.... weird.
Unless you've been hacked and someone has uploaded movies/music/porn to your machine and is using it as a file server. But, this is unlikely.

4. I have zonealarm and AVG |
|
so I don't think it's that.
I search all files for the last 2 days and I can't find anything huge. This is just weird.
