Do you realize how hard it is to lift a person while you are laughing? |
|
My aunt has MS and needs help getting out of bed in the mornings. We have a system worked out where I lift her and she can then get on her scooter and do whatever it is she does in a day's time.
Well, this morning, I started to lift her and she started laughing. It didn't dawn on me at first why she was laughing until I realized I was grunting before I even started lifting her. Realizing that made me start giggling and laughing, then we both were doing that contagious laughter thing that won't quit. We finally worked it out.
Well, needless to say, she is safely on her scooter now. I just thought I would share something funny that happened to me this morning.
I know I need to get out more, but right now I am trying to find out what the flying things are that seem to leech onto me whenever I open the door leading outside. I sure wish someone knew what they are and more importantly how to get rid of them. They are some sort of fruit fly looking thing only slightly different and they bite. They aren't mosquitoes. That much I know.

3. If you can see it, it's a black fly; if you can't it's a no-see-um |
