We spent Aug 2nd - 7th in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was actually my first time flying and first time heading any further south than South Carolina. We stayed at the Riu Palace Macao, which was very nice. We stuggled with the language, as both of us speak very little spanish. Overall Id rate our trip as a 7 out of 10.

We're looking for something tropical. So far we've looked into Cabo San Lucas and Jamaica. Cabo seems really nice. Have any of you ever been there?

3. We're going to St. Thomas over spring break.
We're staying here. My husband travels and earns lots of hotel points, so we got a week's stay for free. There's lots of stuff to do, and the scenery is beautiful. We often have a difficult time choosing where to go. We also considered Costa Rica and Puerto Rico this time around. Good luck with your decision. :hi:

5. Unfortunately it isn't. However, I stumbled upon
this today, and it is all inclusive. It's in the Bahamas and looks really nice. We've never considered an all-inclusive resort because we have kids, and figured it would be too expensive. My husband and I considering this place for a long weekend for two.

7. They speak English in the Cook Islands
They're in the South Pacific. They're the picture of a lush tropical island. The snorkeling is amazing.

9. I'm not sure
The place we stayed had a breakfast option. It also had a fridge in the room which we had some food in - stuff for lunch. Then we went out for dinner.

14. No, there are legal ways to visit there, but they are strange,
and with odd restrictions.

18. St. Lucia
We went on our honeymoon 7 yrs ago and it was beautiful. There was a lot to do and see. Drive in volcano, shopping at the local market, festival, ect. You could go to Martinique for the day via day cruise. We stayed at Sandals Spa Resort - the food and service was wonderful. I couldn't speak highly enough of the whole experience.
