I'll give you a superhero's name, you give me his/her powers.

Okay - the first one is named:

Osmosis Phil

1. Can absorb things (bullets, etc). through his skin, obviously.

Acid Reflux Boy.

2. So he has the power to filter air and liquids!

Could be handy in case of contamination.

"Osmosis Phil, you have to filter out the mercury from this pond before Slugboy dies! Do it, Osmosis Phil, you're out only hope!"

And then Osmosis Phil does, but the mercury poisons him as well until he reverse osmosis it back out of his system and into a bucket or something.

3. Slugboy wouldn't be much of a superhero

His kryptonite would be boring old sodium chloride.

4. Saltwater is kryptonite to Osmosis Phil

His body's water will migrate across the semi-permeable membrane that is his body to the surrounding water containing a concentration of solutes. He will then be known as Pruneface Phil.
